I've been feeling the terrible urge to go back to my roots. You know. Making people cry, or enraging them with my subject matter as I giggle and cough alone in my refrigerator box of hate under the 605. The girly has been reminding me of the good old days, so I've decided to hit some concepts I'd done a TON of studying for but never really followed through on. Handicapped folk, particularly those with physical traits fascinate me. Downes, Angelman, and Prader-Willi syndromes, epigenetic oddness. Strange.
Anyway, I'm no master on any of these particular types of disorders, or even really all that supportive of their various causes, but it's pretty damn interesting that there are consistent visual cues. But hell, maybe seeing this will inspire someone to do something or other.. blah blah. I think it's a challenge to get those little facial subtleties to come out in a painting, though... God, it's super late... I'm tired as hell, but here's my pound of flesh for the weekend. n-joy.
