Grograman is the lord of the Desert of Colors from the Neverending Story. He's featured in the novel when Bastian goes crazy after going to Fantasia and wishing it back together. I did this as a demo for my online CGMA class!

His anatomy looks very uncomfortable, like he'd wanna use those thumbs, but it'd be a hassle since the hands support his weight, and that tail loop doesn't make practical sense either, but I think that' why it really works so well.

He's from a land called Fantasia. Hehehe I figured practicality wasn't necessary.

haha, apparently. I honestly didn't read your description til just now. I saw the movie growing up, but I've had a copy of the book that I've been meaning to read for a year. I'm worried I won't be able to unsee your illustration for that part now, but oh well, could definately do with worse. serious kudos on this.

Love how you made him so old looking, ancient and wise. And humanoid hands...surreal little touch. I laughed when I saw the tail was tied together into a loop, very unquie.
