augh.. you're my hero x_x seriousy, this is amazing, your style is probably my favorite out of everyone on DA. the lighting and the anatomy, the way you emphasize the different surfaces and the use of green. i love seeing this somewhat sketchier stuff, it shows your technique and how genuine it is. i like it when you can see how someone builds their work out of a rough technique, i hate it when people start with clean forms and the only rough technique you see is maybe some stylized, wannabe-sketchy stuff. which is kind of my problem. but that's besides the point.. this is beautiful! i adore you ariokh!
well there's no doubt that your style can be picked out of the crowd. These last three portraits are great. It must be more fun to work from life, something that i've never done. great work!!
this is my fav out of all of the ones you just submitted. I think what really got me was her stockings and her elbows, plus I always love how much red you put in around the nose
The figure, her facial expression, the way
the paint is handled is all exceptional. I do
find the needle is a bit over the top - as if
your idea is being pushed to far...it makes
her washed-up look seem false in some way.
Beautiful colours, and as phyisical a painting can get.
oh god.. i can't even.. words fail me.
She looks like an old french crackwhore. somehow the painting looks like she's confronting me or something! Kinda creepy!

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
