The Minotaur grew up in a Greek Orphanage. Suffering daily humiliation on account of his gigantism, and severe scoliosis. The mildly retarded giant, grew to detest children after frequent accounts of horrendous abuses. Once released from the orphanage he was picked up as muscle by one of the islands small organized crime groups.
Quickly rising through the ranks, the Minotaur became feared and reviled in criminal under-world as the hitman that would take the jobs no one else would consider. Mostly he is contracted for women and children.
It is rumored that he “collects” the distal small finger bone from every hit, and he keeps them in his trophy briefcase, which he never parts with.
the hair is fucking awesome. there's lots of good stuff going on in there, but that hair is gorgeous. i love how loose and dirty it is. as always, great technique
Viewing your work from a "commercial" perspective: This visual is a fascinating one. You have managed to capture the raw hardness in spirit through the scarred expression of the character, the position and movement of his head and the slouch of his shoulders. I particularly like your work on his features, the jacket and the details of his firearm. It easily conveys the image of a "thug" and a dangerous one, so you have succeeded in illustrating the spirit of the character and delivering his viled mission and "objective" as a heartless assassin of women and children.
On the "collection" of the distal small fingers of his victims - that would mean close encounter hits ... and sufficient time to remove that particular body-part ... the briefcase may not enable movement for that, but I suppose you'll have it illustrated for us in the next instalment.
Fascinating piece.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
I'm a lover of visual impacts. I like brilliant colors and shapes. And I decided to collect a whole stack of deviations that reflect that taste. These pieces showcased below deserve every bit of publicity you can give them. x)P
